I heard a story today on "To The Best of Our Knowledge" about disappearing movie theaters around the US, which made made me think of the Keith Albee. One of my very good high school friends and I would try to see every movie that came to Huntington during our high school years and we saw a lot of movies at the Keith Albee. We graduated from high school in the Keith Albee. It helped developed my lifelong love of the movies and having the movie experience with others in a darkened theater--not at home or on my phone. I had to explain to my daughter how it was possible to see every movie in town--because when I said there were only three theaters, she still envisioned three multiplexes. Keep up the good fight of keeping the Keith-Albee a vital part of the community!
